UK volume electrical and electronic component supplier Hylec-APL has introduced a smart new range of junction boxes that are quick and easy to use. TEEBOX provides up to IP68 ingress protection and offers up to 4 way cable entry connections. Improved safety locking avoids accidental seal removal on the cables whilst remaining easy to open and close with the use of a simple tool. The TEEBOX provides ample inner space and is fully integrated with the rest of the TEE family range.

The fully approved all-weather TEEBOX series is being promoted exclusively by Hylec-APL based in Wellingborough, they are available from national UK stockists and direct to distributors and contractors from Hylec-APL. TEEBOX is available in a variety of sizes to ensure that ample room is provided for wiring. The range of formats include the most basic 2 cable entry product (in-line) which has an ingress protection rating of IP 20, suitable for internal installations, up to a 4 cable entry product that has an IP68 rating and  is approved for full submersion up to a depth of four meters.

There is an easy lock/unlock system requiring simple pressure from a screwdriver to release. The IP68 rating and easy assembly design means that TEEBOX can be used in a variety of applications. Different cables can be used (max. Ø 17mm) via adaptors that improve seal compression for soft or smaller cables.

The weatherproof TEEBOX from Hylec-APL is ideal for use in many sectors including civil and industrial electrical installations, automation and industrial applications, military, hydro-sanitary and aquariums.
